Core Creek Marine has recently added a carriage railway system to allow multihull vessels access into the main building for painting.
The need arose when a catamaran captain called asking for an estimate to repaint his boat. Due to our policy of only spray painting indoors, we realized that painting his boat would be impossible as the 200 Ton Travelift cannot fit through the door of the main bay.
Never wanting to turn away a customer, we designed and built a carriage railway system capable of bringing a multihull vessel
with up to a 30' beam, 65' LOA and 40,000 pounds into the building.
The first catamaran inside the building was a success! Our highly skilled paint crew produced a finish the owner was very proud of. Other services for this catamaran included installing new thruhulls, an electrical bonding system, and fiberglass repairs.
Now we are proud to offer the same amount and quality of services to our multihull customers as we always have for out monohull customers!
