S/V Denis Sullivan
The S/V Denis Sullivan is a 137' wooden schooner with three masts. Hailing as the flagship of Wisconsin, the Denis Sullivan travels between the Great Lakes and the Caribbean as an educational vessel.
While returning to the Great Lakes this season, the captain and crew discovered several leaks and other issues that would require immediate attention. The captain contacted us and we made arrangements to have her hauled on our yard.
Excessive rain didn't help as we pulled the 150 ton schooner out of the water and started moving it across the yard, but we were able to get her blocked up and ready to start repairs.
We are currently assisting the crew of the Denis Sullivan as needed while they begin to undergo repairs. We will post more pictures as we get them, as this is sure to be a very interesting couple of weeks on the yard!
